Dallas Hughes is a passionate leader and dedicated Christian who has been working in Catacomb Churches since 2011. He was born and raised in Houston, Texas, where his parents instilled in him the importance of education and faith. After graduating from high school, Dallas attended college at the University of Houston, where he majored in Religious Studies.
Following his graduation, Dallas worked as an assistant minister in a small church before moving to the city of Austin to serve as a youth pastor at a larger congregation. In 2011, Dallas made the decision to join Catacomb Churches to further his mission of sharing God’s word while also providing assistance to those who are less fortunate. Since then, he has traveled extensively throughout Texas and other parts of the US evangelizing and helping struggling churches develop their ministries.
In addition to his work with Catacomb Churches, Dallas serves on numerous volunteer boards and committees related to faith-based initiatives. His commitment is driven by a personal belief that “all people should have equal access to resources regardless of race, gender or socioeconomic background”. As such, Dallas often finds himself speaking on behalf of those who lack opportunity or representation — both nationally and internationally — advocating for social justice through education and advocacy.
When not working with Catacomb Churches or volunteering for various causes, Dallas enjoys spending time with friends and family or reading books about religious studies and ancient civilizations. He also enjoys traveling when possible — having visited nearly every state in America — as well as engaging in outdoor activities such as camping or hiking whenever possible. With an unwavering commitment to serving God through service to others, Dallas Hughes is an inspirational role model whose life story will continue inspiring people around the world for many years to come!
